10 Dec 2009 (Thur): Broadway Beng!

After catching the awesome Beauty World in January last year with Mell, Kailun & Gordie darl, we decided to watch Broadway Beng this time round! Decided to ask Mum along too.

And so, we went to watch it yesterday (10 Dec)!

We bought the cheapest tickets at $19 (heheh cheapo), with seats right at the last row of Circle 3. Wasn't the best, of course, but we could still get a decent view of the stage. The show started off with a bang; with the eight Chio Buus dancing & singing, and Sebastian Tan (a.k.a. Broadway Beng) descending in a glittery & HUGE durian. Haha. It certainly set the mood for the rest of the show. Very getai-ish.

The production was pretty good and provided lots of laughs. If you understand Hokkien (even a little bit will do, like me), it's a MUST-WATCH! Haha. The last run is on Saturday, 12 Dec, so catch it while you still can!

In the end, Mum was satisfied with just ogling the "handsome Sebastian Tan" (her words) and we left for home. Haha!

8 Dec 2009 (Tue): Dinner with BFF Justina

It has been ages since Justina and I had the chance to catch up... as in, just the two of us. And the last time she dated me, I couldn't make it. So I asked her out this time!

It was great catching up with you babe. Feels like forever since we talked so much, for so long. :)

Kailun turns 21! (Celebrations at the Treehouse & at home)

My sister's boyfriend is officially 21! Hurhur. He is really a part of our family already, so of course we celebrated for him too. :)

6 December 2009 (Sun): Kailun's 21st birthday bash at the Treehouse


The treehouse at Bukit Batok Civil Service Club, that is. ;)

It's the place that Zhen, Bok and Gordie darl and I have been going to swim the past few times anyway... lovely place!

KL and his friends then went to explore the place and ended up playing a game of bowling... so it was down to Mum, the siblings, Gordie darl and me at the treehouse. The weather was really cooling; perfect for chillaxing!


My brother was assigned to be the 'official photographer' (don't step pro lah! hahaha), and he was very happy to snap this photo coz' it really showed what we were all doing:

7 December 2009 (Mon): Kailun's 21st birthday celebration at home


Kailun and Mell were out the entire day, of course. But when they got home, there was a surprise awaiting Kailun! Hurhur it was planned by Mell and executed by the rest of us.


The birthday cake - with yummy durian flesh inside! Too bad I didn't know how to appreciate its fine taste :P
